On behalf of Sensio, we are seeking a structured and motivated Head of Group Accounting to join the corporate-level finance team. As the new Head of Group Accounting, you will play an important role and make a real impact in Sensio’s international growth journey. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s financial reporting, with a strong focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Group’s financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate consolidated statements that meet regulatory standards
- Serve as the primary expert in group accounting, VAT, tax and transfer pricing, continuously enhancing systems, procedures, and policies
- Prepare and review group financial statements, offering guidance on accounting issues to subsidiaries
- Plan and execute the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close for the entire group
- Drive the development of accounting procedures and internal controls to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure strong documentation practices and maintain a close working relationship with external auditors
- Assisting CFO in ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Solid professional education, preferably a master's degree in accounting and auditing
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant working experience, preferable with a big 5 background
- Strong experience with group accounting and consolidation principles
- Well experienced in ERP-systems, including solid knowledge of Excel
- Hands-on yet able to interpret the big picture
- Attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate work
- Ability to organise/prioritise work in and around deadlines, workloads and conflicting priorities
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
- Bring a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude to work
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to demands of specific projects and to work effectively as part of a team
